Answer b

  1. Rasheed’s uncle knew that the shopkeepers would make a fool of Rashid and cheat him that’s why Rasheed’s uncle told him not to buy anything in his absence.
  2. The shopkeeper wanted everyone to try their luck that’s why the shop was called Lucky Shop. There were discs kept on the table with numbers from one to ten facing down. To try their luck, one had to pay 50 paise and had to pick any six discs. After picking up the discs add the numbers and find the total. And finally, the article marking with that number went with the person.

 

  1. The old man won a clock and sold it back to the shopkeeper and made 15 rupees.

 

  1. The boy won four prizes and the prizes were a comb, a fountain pen, a wristwatch and a table lamp.

 

  1. Rasheed was upset because he was hoping a big prize for winning and for this he continued trying his luck again and again. But he got a trifle every time. His behavior made people laugh at him and no one showed any sympathy.

 

  1. The shopkeeper made Rasheed believe that it was their luck that made the old man and the boy won their prizes. People who won prizes were actually friends of the shopkeeper and they were playing tricks to tempt Rasheed. As a result, in the hope of getting a big prize, Rasheed tried his luck again and again. However, he did not win anything big.
